The Maastricht School of Management (MsM) is one of the Dutch International Educational Institutes that focuses on developing countries. It has specific expertise in management programmes through partnerships in over 20 developing countries such as India, China, Peru, Egypt and Vietnam. It develops and conducts partnership programmes for a range of large companies.

At the University of Amsterdam (Faculty of Economics and Econometrics), research and teaching on the environmental and social behaviour of companies, and the driving forces behind it, has taken place since 1990. This has covered a range of projects and topics, studied from different disciplines in management and business studies, especially strategy and organisation, accounting and control, international business and marketing.

Established in 1994, EIBE (European Institute for Business Ethics) is the competence centre of Nyenrode University for corporate social responsibility, socially responsible investment and integrity. The institute engages in research and consulting on policy development and implementation of themes related to corporate social responsibility. EIBE has extensive experience with mediation between business and civil society.
